The first European Reference Group meeting took place in Brussels (June 17). Urban freight transport challenges and requirements, and functionalities in relation to traffic and freight distribution management systems were discussed (UTMS and FDMS respectively). The next meeting will take place in November 2008 in Barcelona. Functionalities and modeling scenarios will be further examined together with the main exploitation topics.
